Dr. Jere Neill Jr. is an Emory-trained psychiatrist and Chief Resident who provides comprehensive psychiatric care at GlobeCoRe, including medication management and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, and co-occurring substance-use conditions. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and is completing his psychiatry residency at Emory University School of Medicine, where he has been selected for consecutive Chief Resident leadership roles in Community & Engagement Psychiatry and Emory Health Systems Psychiatry. His training spans outpatient and acute psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, consultation-liaison care, and the treatment of complex psychiatric conditions alongside medical illness.
At GlobeCoRe, Dr. Neill combines evidence-based medication management with advanced treatment options such as TMS, with a particular interest in helping patients whose depression has not responded adequately to traditional medications. His approach is collaborative and highly individualized, taking into account not only a patient’s symptoms, but also their physical health, life experiences, goals, and personal priorities. Fluent or professionally proficient across English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, Dr. Neill also brings a valuable cross-cultural perspective to psychiatric care and can provide clinical care in English and Spanish. Working alongside GlobeCoRe’s experienced, board-certified psychiatrists while completing specialized TMS training, he helps patients understand their options and build a treatment plan designed around meaningful, sustainable improvement.
